UPCOMING ACTIVITY
I was awarded a National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH) Summer Stipend to spend this upcoming July-August working to complete our co-edited edition of the philosophical works of Blaise and Jacqueline Pascal.
I am contributing two chapters to the Blackwell Companion to Pascal: "Pascal's Life and Works" and "Jacqueline Pascal, Gilberte Pascal Périer, and Marguerite Périer" (Expected 2024)
RECENT ACTIVITY
Dwight Lewis's and my article "Living By Her Laws: Jacqueline Pascal and Women's Autonomy" is now available in the European Journal of Philosophy.
Recently I conducted archival research in France and Scotland as part of my project Pascal’s Skeptical Solutions to Doubt and its Humean Reception. This research was funded by the Kristeller-Popkin Fellowship,
In celebration of Blaise Pascal's 400th Birth Year, in March I presented a paper on the Pascal women at this conference in Claremont, CA.
