I have been awarded two grants for research and travel this summer: an ACLS Project Development Grant and an internal Participating Faculty Research Award.

I will continue archival research in Edinburgh this June for my project Pascal’s Skeptical Solutions to Doubt and its Humean Reception, funded by the Participating Faculty Research Award. This is building upon 2022 research funded by the Kristeller-Popkin Fellowship and is an important part of my book project, Pascalian Metaphysics. Upon my return to the USA, I will use the ACLS Project Development Grant to allow time for sorting through my archival work and continue writing for that book project.

I also am contributing two chapters to the Blackwell Companion to Pascal: "Pascal's Life and Works" and "Jacqueline Pascal, Gilberte Pascal Périer, and Marguerite Périer" (Expected 2025)

Dwight Lewis's and my article "Living By Her Laws: Jacqueline Pascal and Women's Autonomy" is now available in the European Journal of Philosophy!
